Your request
You asked for information for educational purposes as final requirement on Social Work subject regarding information of the agency’s profile, as follows: Head of the Agency; Vision, Mission, Goals and Objectives;
Programs and Services; Client System; Area of Coverage; Policies and Procedures; Sources of Funding; and, Organizational Chart.
Response to your request
Your FOI request is approved. The answer to your request is that the requested agency’s profile information except for sources of funding and area of coverage are available online at www.cwc.gov.ph
Other information about the CWC, are as follows:
a. The CWC is a focal government coordinating agency on children and not a direct implementing agency and it is not within the agency mandate to handle or manage social work cases. It has a national office located in Quezon City with regional structures in seventeen (17) regions. The agency social work service when it comes to the client system is limited to referral system or network
accessible via CWC website.
b. CWC source of funding is thru General Appropriations of the government.
c. The agency goals and objectives are set forth in its Frameworks for Plan Development for Children (e.g. Child 21, National Plan of action for Children or NPAC, Philippine Plan of Action to End Violence against Children or PPAEVAC. Information on NPAC and PPAEVAC are available online via

Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result, within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request. If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President
under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
