I purchased a portion of a CLOA titled land. As part of RD requirements for registration I was asked to get DAR clearance as per AO No. 8. I have complied with all the requirements provided to me by San Rafael MARO office. After completing the requirements I was told that buying a portion of a CLOA land is not allowed and I will not be given any DAR clearance and that I cannot register the land I have purchased. I have purchased the residential portion of the land. I need further clarification on AO #8 as it is not stipulated that buying portion is of cloa land is not allowed.
