Hi,

I would like to know the status of my grandfather's CLT land. My grandfather's name is Felix L. Balila. It was granted to him by Ferdinand Marcos on September 10,1979 thru PD no. 27 and he  paid it in Land bank. The land is approx. 1.7 hectares and located on Pasig, Claveria, Masbate.

His heirs have been cultivating the land and never sold any part of it. Now somebody is claiming that it is only 0.7 hectare and not 1.7 hectares.

Response to your request

In order to ascertain the status of the Certificate of Land Transfer (CLT), you may secure a Certification of Status of Certificate of Land Transfer (CLT). But since the issuance of the said certification is part of the regular function/frontline service of the DAR, it cannot be counted as a FOI request.

You can access the checklist of requirements and procedures for securing the Certification of Status of Certificate of Land Transfer (CLT) from the Official DAR website under the Transparency Seal (https://www.dar.gov.ph/transparency-seal). The procedure is in the video under the "Citizen's Charter" (Central Office, 2:34 of the video).

You can also visit the DAR Provincial Office of Masbate at Brgy. Nursery, Masbate City (Telephone No. (056) 333-4199) to apprise you the status of the said CLT.
