I would like to request for a copy of:

DBM Compensation Policy Guidelines No. 98-1 and Budget Execution Guidelines No. 2004-1 to facilitate my research re: the automatic review of COA RO No. IV-A Decision No. 2021-32 dated December 9, 2021 re: disallowance on the payment of allowances to employees of the MTCC in Lipa, Batangas as part of my function as Special Investigator

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Apr 18, 2022 01:57:55 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for DBM Compensation Policy Guidelines No. 98-1 and Budget Execution Guidelines No. 2004-1.

May we note that both issuances are all about the grant of additional allowances and other benefits to national government officials/employees assigned to local government units (LGUs) as provided under Section 447, 458 and 468 of Republic Act No. 7160 or the Local Government Code of 1991. 

Corollary, may we highlight that both DBM issuances are internal issuances intended for the Directors and Technical Staff of the different Bureaus and Regional Offices of the DBM.  

Hence, should you require any clarification on the matter, may we suggest that you address your specific concern  directly to the DBM Regional Office concerned.
