Hi DBM,

I wish to know if those ex-official who are entitled to have RATA could claim retroactively from the agency savings?

I was the department head from one of the SUC for 3 years, from June 2014 to December 2017. However, the agency did not implement the DBM NBC No. 548 for the entitlement of RATA for department head with 4 unique programs, and my Dean just recently checked the details of the said DBM Memo #548, and we realized that I should have RATA for the period I serve as department head.
Can I request for reimbursement of my RATA entitlement to my agency?

This refers to your query on whether an ex-official entitled to representation and transportation allowances (RATA) could claim retroactively from agency savings.
