Andalis 11:02 AM, Jan 27, 2020

Dear DBM,

Good day! May I request for data on economic impact by the 2020 Taal eruption as of present? If possible, I would like to request for a breakdown of its effects on how will it affect the budget.

I would also like to ask if there is an action plan for the recovery after the eruption. (budget allocation, funding requirements, foreign assistance, etc.)

If there is already official data available online, i would like to request for a link. Let me know if you need more details. Thank you!

Your request

You asked for Impact of the 2020 Taal Eruption.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested. Please be informed that the recovery and rehabilitation efforts due to Taal Volcano Eruption were subsumed under the regular budget of the concerned agencies and the calamity fund. However, you may wish to contact the specific implementing agency for the details of their expenditures and the impact on their specific programs and projects.

My apologies for the late reply. I encountered a problem in accessing the FOI dashboard and the matter was just resolved last October 15, 2020.

For further assistance you may review the FAQ section of the eFOI site: https://zcwd20190208-dot-efoi-ph.appspot.com/help.
