Thank you for your request dated December 20, 2019 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for data of local government expenditures on infrastructure.

Response to your request

We were able to determine that this particular information is already available online and therefore cannot be counted as a valid FOI request. You may retrieve your requested information from the DBM website with the link: https://www.dbm.gov.ph/ > click on Budget Documents > select specific year > select Budget of Expenditures and Sources of Financing > click Public Sector Infrastructure Budget. In the table, please look for the Allocation to Local Government Units. Please note that the earliest year in the table denotes the actual obligated amount for the year, while the middle year refers to the appropriated budget and the latest year means the budget proposal to Congress. Moreover, this is not the definitive amount for the infrastructure budget and only reflects the intergovernmental transfers from the National Government to the Local Government Units. Finally, only limited years can be viewed in the DBM website and we respectfully suggest you visit the DBM Library to view its archives for the remaining years for your needed information.
