Dear Micah Premne Amable,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated May 02, 2022 09:20:58 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for the list of the  Regional Offices (ROs) of  the National Commission of Senior Citizens (NCSC).

May we highlight that under its approved Organizational Chart, the NCSC has a total of eight ROS: three (3) in Luzon, two (2) in Visayas, and three (3) in Mindanao. 

Corollary, based on the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) No. 11350, the NCSC shall have the authority to promulgate the rules, regulations and policies related to or affecting senior citizens, including the apportionment of regions for purposes of convenience in the administration and assignment of monitoring of functions by Commissioners.  

Said IRR further defines geographical region as a clustered grouping of existing regions in the country based on parameters to be drawn up and agreed by the Commission for appropriate representation.

At present, the following clustering of regions are in effect:

1.	 Mindanao – Cluster 1 : Regions 11 and 13
                              Cluster 2 : Regions 10 and 12
                              Cluster 3 :  Region 9 and BARMM

2.	 Visayas – Cluster 4:  Regions 7 and 8
                          Cluster 5 : Regions 6 and 7

3.	 Luzon – Cluster 6: Regions 1, 2 & 3, and CAR
                        Cluster 7: NCR
                        Cluster 8 :  Regions IV-A, IV-B and V

Should you require further clarification on the matter, we suggest that you coordinate directly with the NCSC.
