Hello sir/ma’am. I am a transferred with promotion employee, I have no gap in service, I will leave my current provincial government agency this October 15, 2019. Been working there for more than three years. Now i’ve been called to work in National government, and my office assumption is on October 16, 2019. Am I still entitled for year end bonus and cash gift? And where i can get it? Is it on my new agency or previous agency? Thank you.

Dear Mr. Milo,

This refers to your query on whether you are still entitled to year-end bonus and cash gift considering that you will transfer from the provincial government to a national government agency.

Budget Circular No. 2016-4 dated April 28, 2016 provides the updated rules and regulations on the grant of year-end bonus and cash gift to government personnel.  A copy of said Circular may be downloaded from our website www.dbm.gov.ph>publications>compendium of issuances on organization, staffing, position classification and compensation.
