I would like to get an update regarding our pending claim for covid compensation. DOH is claiming that they are closely coordinating to DBM for funds but the funds. Is it true that your agency didnt release the budget yet?

Your Request

You asked for Covid Compensation for 2021.

Response to Request

DBM issued SARO-BMB-B-22-0007261 dated August 26, 2022 amounting to ₱570 Million. Said fund shall cover the payment of unpaid COVID-19 sickness and death compensation of 31,687 public and private healthcare workers for FYs 2020 and 2021.
