Hi I would like to request for the information regarding our HEA as of this day July 12, 2023 I didn't received any amount from Veterans Memorial Medical Center. Hoping to help us to force VMMC to release our HEA. We already accepted that we didn't received any Hazard Pay during Covid 19 Pandemic even I already assigned at covid ward due to our status in the company, we are outsourced employee of VMMC. We also accepted that we don't have holiday pay due to the agreement between our agency and VMMC. But this HEA is not their fund its from government they shall release it to us.

You asked for REQUEST TO RELEASE HEALTH EMERGENCY ALLOWANCE (HEA).

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. 

Inasmuch as the evaluation, validation, and processing of claims for the grant of the HEA to eligible HCW and non-HCWs fall within the authority of the Department of Health (DOH) pursuant to DOH-DBM Joint Circular No. 2022-0001 dated February 10, 2022, the said Department is in a better position in addressing the complaint raised against Veterans Memorial Medical Center.

May we also suggest that this concern be referred/requested in the Freedom of Information web page of the DOH. Thank you.

Thank you so much for immediate response with my concern. Many of us are hoping for this HEA to be release.
