Dear Messrs. & Mesdames,

The Supervising Administrative Officer was assigned as OIC Designate in Staff Development Division -HRDS for the said period thru an office order. It is specified in the office order that she'll be entitled for a RATA thru a Memorandum Order. Is she entitled for a RATA during the 2-day designation? 

Can you define full time duties as used in Item 4.4 of NBC No. 548?

Dear Ms. Bacorro,

This refers to your inquiry on whether a designated Oifficer-in-Charge of a division is entitled to representation and transportation allowances (RATA) during the period of his/her designation.

The rules and regulations on the grant of RATA is  provided under National Budget Circular No. 458.  A copy of the Circular may be accessed from our website www. dbm.gov.ph.

With regard to your query on what would be considered as duties and responsibilities of a particular position, you may wish to initially consider the  Position Description Form accomplished by the incumbent of the position.
