You asked for BUDGET OF DSWD FOR CHILD AND YOUTH WELFACE FACILITIES.

1. DSWD budget for children and youth welfare facilities
2. Detailed budget allocation (construction and/or maintenance, etc.)

DBM-BMB-B Response:

Under FY 2022 General Appropriations Act (RA No. 11639), the DSWD has an allocation of P2,109,138,000.00 to cover the implementation of its program - Services for Residential and Center-based Clients, detailed below:
  	 Personnel Services: P626,299,000.00
 	 Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses: P1,382,839,000.00
  	 Capital Outlay: P100,000,000.00

Said program covers the operation and maintenance of 64 residential care facilities and 7 non-residential care facilities. Out of the total number, 27 residential centers are for children and 16 residential centers are for youth.
Inasmuch as actual utilization and status of the implementation of the program is within the jurisdiction of the DSWD as the implementing agency, request for further details may be directly coordinated and/or requested to the DSWD proper.
