Good day! 
I just want to clarify if the daily wage of JO/COS nurses shall follow the equivalent daily wage of permanent staff nurses as per item no. 11.5 of COA-DBM Joint Circular no. 2 s. 2020. Since Plantilla Nurse 1's salary has already been upgraded to SG 15, will this item on the circular apply to JO/COS nurses too?

Dear Mr. Bueron,

This refers to your request for inquiry on whether the salary of nurses hired under Job Order (JO) or Contract of Service (COS) basis shall be adjusted to the same salary level as nurses hired on regular basis, i.e., SG-15 for Nurse I.

Please note that under  DBM-COA Joint Circular No. 2 S. 2020,  those hired either on JO or COS status shall be paid wages equivalent to the daily wage/salary of comparable positions in government.

We believe that your inquiry could best be addressed by the agency concrened as it would be contingent on the duties and responsiblities assigned to the COS/JO worker.
