Hello, I want to clarify who is liable to pay (Government Agency A or Government Agency B) the Year-end bonus (YEB) and cash gift of an employee who transferred within the year from one government agency to another.

- Employee is employed with Government Agency A from January 2022 to November 10, 2022;
- The first day of the employee with Government Agency B is November 11, 2022.

Greetings!

This refers to your inquiry as to which agency shall be responsible for the payment of the  Year-End Bonus (YEB) and Cash Gift (CG)  of a Transferred Government Employee.

The rules and regulations on the grant of the YEB and CG are embodied under Budget Circular No. 2016-4, a copy of which is attached for your perusal.

Your query is addressed by Section 6.6 of said Circular.
