Hi! I would like to request information on the the following its proper implementation:

If I have a residence in Davao City and was assigned and assumed my post at Mati, Davao Oriental (180km away from Davao City) as permanent official station for months/year. There was no living allowance but I personally acquired paid daily living expenses in my residence at Mati - place of assignment.

If we have an Official Travel to Davao City:
1. Am I not allowed to claim DTE for the Travel to Davao City per E.O. 77 Section 5?
2. By rule, Is having a residence in Davao City disqualify my claim for DTE?

This refers to your inquiry with regard to  Executive Order (EO) No. 77 which prescribes the rules and regulations and rates of expenses and allowances for foreign and local travels of government personnel.

Since you have raised very specific issues, we suggest that you address your concerns directly to the DBM Regional Office No. XI for the proper resolution of your concerns.
