Hi! The Selected Macroeconomic and Agriculture Statistics published by DA presents annual data on the share of agriculture and agrarian reform in the national government expenditures, which I have already requested from them. I am however forwarded to DBM as DA cannot provide the said data, and the report shows DBM as the data source in the first place. 

I would like to request if I can have a copy of the series of agriculture and agrarian reform expenditures per region for the years 1985-2019. Appreciate your help. Thank you!

Your Request

You asked for Share of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform Expenditure in the National Government Expenditure '85-2019.

Response to Request

My sincerest apologies for not replying to you sooner. The said concern has been coordinated with the Department of Agriculture given the representation that the source data was based on a publication by the said Department. However, as confirmed with the DA, the said document was published by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) and not the DA. As such, we cannot verify the said source data.

On the other hand, please be informed that the readily available documents of this Department relative to your request are the following:

1.	Releases and obligations for the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program Implementing Agencies from July 1987 to Present (without regional breakdown); and
2.	Total allocation for the Agri-Subsector (i.e. DA) from 2009-2022 (with regional breakdown).

The consolidated data for previous years’ budget (1985-2022) is currently unavailable. However, current and previous years' GAA, which contains the budget allocation per Department/Agency, may be accessed through the DBM website (dbm.gov.ph) and/or the DBM Library.
