Good evening. I would like to verify if the information I received from DOH Region VI office that there is still no budget for the claims of Healthcare workers who acquired COVID-19 infection for the year 2021 is true. Thank you.

You asked for BUDGET FOR COVID-19 BENEFIT CLAIM FOR 2021.

Response to Request

DBM issued SARO-BMB-B-22-0007261 dated August 26, 2022 amounting to ₱570 Million. Said fund shall cover the payment of unpaid COVID-19 sickness and death compensation of 31,687 public and private healthcare workers for FYs 2020 and 2021.
