Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Nov 09, 2023 01:02:56 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for Technical Property Inspection Committee (Guidelines and Functions).

The Department does not have a Technical Property Inspection Committee. However, the functions of which are within the ambit of our Property and Supply Sections, along with the end-user units, in the Administrative Service. These sections are primarily responsible for, among others, inspecting goods that are being procured by the Department to ensure that they are delivered without defects and in accordance with the technical specifications as required by the end-users. 

The Department does not have guidelines on the matter but we comply with all the relevant rules and regulations issued by the Commission on Audit.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
