Response to Request

A systems audit is currently being conducted on the BTMS by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) to determine the system’s performance vis-à-vis the targeted goals and objectives. Said audit or assessment is based on the Application Portfolio Rationalization Framework which evaluates the system’s functional fit, technical viability, financial analysis and application disposition and roadmap.

The completion of the systems audit within the original timeline of twelve (12) weeks starting April 2022 will provide results to serve as basis for the Public Financial Management (PFM) Committee to determine the moving forward strategy of the Integrated Financial Management Information Systems (IFMIS) under the PFM Reform Roadmap. Said Reform Roadmap is set to be reviewed by the PFM Committee within 2022 to align the same with the next administration’s strategic thrusts and direction on digitization and e-governance. Further, the PFM Committee and its Task Teams are currently being reconstituted to initiate the discussions for the envisioned moving forward strategy.

Thank you.

Respectfully,
