I would just like to ask if an employee is promoted on January 9, 2023, is he already entitled to mid year bonus?

This refers to your inquiry on whether an employee who is recently promoted is entitled to the Mid-Year Bonus (MYB).

Please be informed that the rules and regulations on the grant of MYB to government personnel are prescribed under Budget Circular (BC) No. 2017-2.  You may refer to Item 5.0 of the Circular as regards your concern.

A copy of BC No. 2017-2 is attached for your ready reference.
