Dear Ms. Jaim,

With regard to your request, the Cabinet Secretaries and Undersecretaries are entitled to the following compensation in accordance with the provisions of Executive Order No. 201 and the General Provisions of Republic Act No. 10924:

(i)   Monthly Basic  Salary

      Dept. Secretary, SG-31 P 117,086 (by January 1, 2016)
                                                   P 152,325 (by January 1, 2017)

      Dept. Undersecretary, SG-30 P  96,354 (by January 1, 2016)
                                                          P 117,601 (by January 1, 2017)

(ii) Personnel Economic Relief Allowance - P2,000 per month

(iii) Representation and Transportation Allowances 

      Dept Secretary - P 14,000 per month for each type of allowance
      Dept Undersecretary - P 11, 000 per month for each type of allowance
   
      * only those who are not provided with government motor transportation are entitled to transportation allowance

(iv) Mid-Year Bonus = equivalent to one month basic salary

(v) Cash gift = P5,000

(vi) Year-end Bonus = equivalent to one month basic salary

(vii) Productivity Enhancement Incentive = P 5,000 
 
 (viii) Clothing Allowance = P 5,000

(ix) Performance Based Bonus = variable, depending on agency performance

It should be noted that the entitlement to the different allowances, benefits and incentives is subject to the prescribed conditions for entitlement to such emoluments, as stipulated in the attendant Budget Circulars which may be accessed from the website of the Department of Budget and Management www.dbm.gov.ph.
