Dear Ms. Iglesias,

This refers to your query whether the creation of the position of Local Legislative Staff Officer (LLSO) VI  is allowable for a component city.

May we note that the LLSO VI position is allocated to Salary Grade (SG)-24. 

It is to be further noted in the case of component cities, the highest position below the rank of an assistant department head that may be created should have a SG allocation not higher than SG-22.

Should you require further clarification on the matter, you may wish to coordinate directly with DBM Regional Office No III, Regional Government Center, Maimpis, San Fernando, Pampanga.
