Good day!

I am asking if a NOSCA was issued for DepEd Region VII for the approved items for DOST-SEI scholar-graduates.  I received a notifying email from DOST Region VII last May 11 detailing a timeline of events for the DepEd Deployment for SY 2021-2022. According to the email, around June to July was expected release of the said order. The processes for the deployment will follow after that.

Your Request

You asked for NOSCA for DOST-SEI Scholar-Graduates for 2021.

Response to Request

Please be informed that DBM Regional Office VII has created the following positions deployed to the 19 School Division Offices [Kindergarten/ Elementary/ Junior High School (JHS) and Senior High School (SHS)] with details in the attached file (please see attachment).

The SST I positions are deployed to SHS to accommodate  DOST scholars pursuant to Republic Act 10612 (particularly Section 10 – Return of Service Condition), which provides that after completion of their Bachelor Science degrees, said scholars must teach full-time high school subject(s) in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, or Information Technology or Agricultural or Aquaculture or Fisheries Technology, in any high school, public or private of their own choice within the country or the priority shall be their home province for a minimum of two (2) years.
