1. The yearly budget of the Philippines from 1962 - 2022.
2. The amount of debt of the Philippines during the same period.
3. The amount budget allotted to debt servicing during the same period.

Your Request

You asked for The Amount in Peso Value of Budget Allotted for Debt Servicing from 1962-2022.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved.

Please note that we are only able to provide some of the information you have requested for as available in the DBM website (www.dbm.gov.ph). Specifically, you may access the report on national government expenditures from 1983-2022 thru the following:
1. 1983-2002 - Fiscal Statistics Handbook (https://www.dbm.gov.ph/index.php/dbcc-matters/dbcc-publication/fiscal-statistics-handbook)
2. 2003-2022 -Budget of Expenditures and Sources of Financing (Please refer to the attached screenshot for the menu/command in accessing the annual BESF.

Meanwhile, the Bureau of the Treasury is in a better position to provide the requested information on debt burden/debt servicing as this falls within their functional jurisdiction.
