Dear Mr.  Cruz,

This is with regard to your inquiry on whether the “Index of Occupational Services, Position Titles and Salary Grades in the Local Government”  issued through Local Budget Circular (LBC) No. 61 has already been revised.

Please be informed that  the classification of  positions under said Index remains valid, except for some modifications as a result of the following issuances:  (i) Conversion of positions performing staff/non-technical functions under Budget Circular No. 2004-4, (ii) Re-allocated Classes of Positions in Annex “B” of LBC No. 2009-92, and (iii) Establishment of Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices under NDRRMC-DILG-DBM-CSC Joint Memorandum No. 2014-1.
