Impact of EO-366 (Rationalization Plan) on Government Agencies

Requested from DBM by R. Gabuya at 09:22 PM on Nov 05, 2023.
Purpose: Topic in Graduate School Course; Research
Date of Coverage: 01/01/2005 - 12/31/2022
Tracking no: #DBM-189562642565

Gabuya 09:22 PM, Nov 05, 2023

Executive Order 366 signed by then Pres. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo in 2004 rationalized the functions and agencies in the Executive Branch.

It has been close to 20 years since EO366 was effected.

I would like to ask for a list or table showing the number of plantilla positions for each government agency before and after the implementation of the rationalization plan. (I would like to know, for example, how many plantilla positions were abolished, reclassified, merged, etc.)

I would also like to ask if the DBM conducted any study or analysis after the completion of EO366. Thank you.
