Dear Ms. Padilla,


This refers to your request for information on the latest number of filled and unfilled employment posts for health workers/professionals in the public sector.

Based on the data generated from the Government Manpower Information System (GMIS) of the DBM as of May 22, 2020,  there are 21,064 authorized (plantilla) medical positions, of which 15,871 positions are filled.  

Conversely, there are 48,418 authorized (plantilla) allied medical positions, of which 41,153 positions are filled.

The above number excludes positions in GOCCs and LGUs as the DBM does not have a database of positions for said entities.
