Hi, I would like to make a request for an opinion regarding my RATA as OIC of two different positions with corresponding RATA.

I am an LGU employee with a position of Bookkeeper I with SG 8. I was designation as OIC Assistant Municipal Treasurer SG22 with a RATA of P8,500.00 and last month I was also Designated as OIC MUnicipal Accountant SG24 with a RATA of P12,750.00. Am I entittled to both RATA?

Dear Ms.  Viray,

This refers to your request for clarification as regards your entitlement to representation and transportation allowances (RATA) in view of your designation to two (2) positions. 

May we note that Local Budget Circular (LBC) No 103 dated May 15, 2013 provides the rules and regulations on the grant of RATA to LGU officials.  A copy of the circular is attached for your perusal.

May we further note that  Item 10.0 of the Circular may be applicable in your case.

Should you require additional  clarification on the matter,  we suggest that you address your concern directly to the DBM Regional Office in your locality.
