Hi, I would like to ask whether Government Personnel (including COSWs) who reported to work in NCR Plus bubble areas during the implementation of ECQ last March 29 to April 4, 2021 and April 5 to 11 to 2021 are entitled to Hazard Pay.

Dear Anjo Ellis Padilla,

This refers to your inquiry on whether government employees are entitled to  Hazard Pay due to Implementation of ECQ in NCR plus bubble.

The grant of COVID-19 hazard pay may be authorized to government personnel who physically report for work during the period of the implementation of ECQ, subject to the conditions provided under Administrative Order No. 26, as implemented by Budget Circular No. 2020-1, including among others, the limitation on the grant of similar benefits provided under existing laws.

You may wish to visit the DBM website www.dbm.gov. ph for a copy of the aforementioned issuances.
