Good day!

May I ask if elected officials such as Members of the House of Representatives, Senate or the appointed members of the new Bangsamoro Parliament of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) are entitled to receive RATA? I read DBM circulars but it covered only LGU officials.

Dear Mr. Mahinay,

This refers to your query on the entitlement to RATA of certain government officials.  

Section 59 of the General Provisions of Republic Act No. 11260 or the General Appropriations Act for FY 2019 provides the list of officials entitled to RATA while the amended rules and regulations for the grant thereof are provided under National Budget Circular No. 548.

You may access a copy of the Circular from the DBM website www.dbm.gov.ph under Compendium of Issuances on Organization, Staffing, Position Classification and Compensation.
