Good morning Ma'am/ Sir,

I would just like to ask if there is budget allocation for conversion of Master Teacher Position for Fiscal Year 2021 in DepEd Caraga. Upon inquiring in DepEd Caraga on the status of application for MT conversion, they said that MT is excess already. DBM is putting on hold the application because of the excess. Is there a possibility that the conversion to MT will be approved but no budget yet? Kung meron pong budget, kailan po kaya ang pag-continue sa processing?

Your Request

You asked for To know the status of application in DepEd Caraga as to the process of conversion of MT position.

Response to Request

Please be informed that DepEd RO XIII has an allocation of P 24,413,000.00 for the conversion to Master Teacher positions for FY 2021. To date, we have not received any request from DepEd Regional Office for the conversion of MT positions. The evaluation shall commence upon receipt of such request and once the FY 2021 funds is exhausted, the succeeding evaluation shall be done in FY 2022 in consideration with the existing guidelines and availability of funds for the purpose.
