Greetings!  I am currently 3rd year taking up Economics at PUP. I would like to request the information on the following:

1) Data on Government Education Expenditure in Tertiary Level in the Philippines from 1998-2018
2) Data on Education Expenditure Per Student in Tertiary Level in the Philippines from 1998-2018

We have already gathered data online from World Bank but the data is incomplete. We hope you may have data available on the said dates. We are also glad to be referred to other agencies or entities that may have such information.

You asked for Data on Government Education Expenditure in Tertiary Level in the Philippines from 1998-2018.

Response to Request

This pertains to your request for data coursed thru the FOI portal.   In this regard kindly see our comments and clarifications below :

1. Data on Government Expenditure in Tertiary Level in the Philippines from 1998-2018
    
Are the data requested cover only the State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) or whether these include the Private Higher Education Institutions (PHEIs)  and  Local Universities and Colleges (LUCs).  


   a) As to the government expenditure for SUCs, the data on appropriations from FY 2000 to the present is available on the DBM website.  
   b) If the request includes PHEIs and LUCs, it is suggested that coordination be made with the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) for the requested data since the same are not available in DBM.

2.  Data on Education Expenditure per student in Tertiary Level in the Philippines from 1998-2018
    a) The DBM has no available data on this, hence it is suggested that the requestee coordinates with CHED on the matter.
