CPCS Differential of Resigned DBP Employees

Requested by M. Dolio at 05:17 PM on Jul 03, 2023.
Purpose: Freedom of information
Date of Coverage: 10/05/2021 - 06/30/2022
Tracking no: #DBP-610940940839

Dolio 05:17 PM, Jul 03, 2023

Sir/Ma'am,

Good day!

My CPCS salary differential as a resigned employee is still not being released by DBP despite releasing the same and adjusting the salaries of active employees as of June 30, 2023.

1. Is there no prescribed period within which to give salary differentials to resigned employees, and that the GOCC are given unfettered discretion for the release of the same?

2. Is three (3) months since March 2023 not yet enough time for DBP to release my salary differential?

3. Are resigned employees not given the same priority for the CPCS salary differentials?

Thank you.

Dear Myla Monique Dolio,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Jul 03, 2023 05:17:10 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your Request

You asked for CPCS Differential of Resigned DBP Employees.

Response to Request

With reference to your query, kindly note that the implementation of CPCS in the Bank was only approved by the Board on 12 April 2023. The payment of CPCS differentials to active employees was only made in June 2023 given the arduous computation involved. In fact, there are still pending/further adjustments to be made for the active employees.

As soon as the differentials for active employees are paid/completed, payment of CPCS differential for separated employees shall be processed.

Rest assured that the CPCS is being given utmost priority.

We thank you for your understanding.
