Hi! I would like to request the following information regarding the number of artists in the Philippines per category i.e. (Visual Arts, Design, Performing Arts, Creative Services, etc.) in the various cities and provinces in the country from years 2019-2021.

Thank you for your request dated Jun 24, 2021 11:36:09 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your request

You asked for Statistics of Visual and Design Artists in the Philippines.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have [some of]* the information you have requested. However, you may wish to contact the NCCA or resubmit your request addressed to the correct agency on the eFOI portal at ncca.gov.ph.

Further, the Design Center does not currently have the information you requested. However, we are currently conducting the DESIGN COUNTS, a project aimed at mapping the design industry/economy of the Philippines. we are targeting the completion of the project in the fourth quarter of this year and we hope to have the data you need shortly after the launch of the results of the mapping. You may also try to get in touch with the NCCA for data on visual artists.
