Dear Joel Daniel Casupanan,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Feb 24, 2022 08:22:33 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for Statistics of Person Who Use Drugs (PWUD) in Province of Pampanga.

Your FOI request is approved. Enclosed is a copy of the information you requested particularly on the number of drug dependent surrenderees undergoing treatment and rehabilitation from the Province of Pampanga.

Please note that we are only able to provide some of the data/information. However, you may wish to contact:

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency - for the first request (Current Drug-Related Crime Statistics -Offenders were often under the influence of drugs in the Province of Pampanga) and for the second request (Drug Rates in the Province of Pampanga (2016-2021) at: https://www.foi.gov.ph/request?=PDEA;

For your request on Arrestees frequently test positive for recent drug use (2016-2021), we will unfortunately have to deny the same on the ground that the request is vague.

If are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Secretary Catalino S. Cuy, CEO VI at info@ddb.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).

Thank you.

Respectfully,

Rebecca Arambulo
FOI Receiving Officer
