HI FOI,

Good day.

I would like to seek assistance with your good office in obtaining existing MOUs / MOAs or Bilateral Agreements signed by the Philippine government with other countries that concern Filipino Migrant Teachers, their employment, regulation, and protection.
I will use the said MOUs / MOAs / Bilateral Agreements as reference frameworks for a case study of establishing the same in Thailand for my master's study. I have already obtained here a copy of the MOU with China and Philippines but it has yet to take effect.

Dear Mr. Grumo,

This is with reference to your FOI request for a copy of any MOUs/MOAs/bilateral agreements entered into by the Philippines regarding the
employment of Filipino migrant teachers. The Department wishes to inform you that based on records, the MOU with China on the employment of Filipino teachers of English language is the only signed bilateral agreement concerning the regulation and employment of Filipino teachers overseas. In this regard, the Department provides you with a copy of the said MOU.
