Your request • DFA FSC No. 22-10 dated 22 February 2010 re: Classification of Aliens for Issuance of Temporary Visitor’s Visa • DFA FSC No. 95-2014 dated 07 April 2014 re: Changes in the List Covered by the Visa-Free Entry Response to your request While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance, upon further evaluation of your request, please be advised that internal documents such as Implementing Rules and Regulations, Foreign Service Circulars pertaining to the conduct of foreign affairs is recognized in international law and in the Inventory of Exceptions to Executive Order No. 2, the Order which operationalized the right to information. Therefore, DFA is constrained by law from issuing copies of the subject documents to the public. Pursuant to these existing rules and regulations on matters concerning national security, to preserve government relations, the said FSCs cannot be disclosed to the public due to the sensitivity of information contained in it. However, should you wish to conduct research on current Philippine visa policies, please do not hesitate to visit our office at DFA Aseana, Paranaque City. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to oscr.div2@dfa.gov.ph. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.
