Passport Additional Pages

Requested from DFA by M. Tabing at 10:50 AM on Feb 03, 2022.
Purpose: To eliminate renewing passport frequently due to running out page
Date of Coverage: 01/01/2022 - 02/03/2022
Tracking no: #DFA-744454913180

Tabing 10:50 AM, Feb 03, 2022

Good day,

I just wondering if we (seafarers and offshore workers) can request for additional pages in our passport. As you maybe aware, seafarers and offshore workers normally work out of the country frequently (normally 4 weeks on and 4 weeks). We need to renew our passport because of no more pages available and not because it is expired. They have extended the expiration but didn't add more pages on it.

FYI: MARINA (Maritime Industry Authority) introduce more pages on our seamans book (SIRB) as soon as they extend the validation to 10 years. It does make sense.

Thank you.
