On behalf of our client CHEVRON PHILIPPINES INC. (the “Company”), we are requesting from your esteemed office three (3) certified true copies of Memorandum of Understanding signed on November 14, 2012, with Agreement Between the Government of the Republic of the Philippines and the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand Relating to Air Services Between Their Respective Territories signed on April 27, 1953. This request is made in relation to the Company's administrative and judicial claims for refund.

Thank you for your request dated Mar 07, 2023 03:36:18 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your Request

You asked for Memorandum of Understanding  with Agreement Between the Government of the Philippines and Thailand.

Response to Request

Please be informed that the original copy of the requested Air Service Agreement is not available in DFA’s records and hence cannot provide certified true copies of the said agreement.

However, we have endorsed your request to the Foreign Service Institute (FSI) which is currently the repository of original ASAs and the latter also certifies true copies of the said agreements.

In this regard, you may contact Ms. Maria Luz S. Verdejo, Head Librarian of Carlos P. Romulo Library of Foreign Service Institute at tel no. (02) 8834 3214.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to opcd.div2@dfa.gov.ph.
