I have applied for tourist visa through London embassy and I’ve  been told that’s the embassy applied for EED clearance from the DFA  

I would be appreciated if I could get an answer about  EED. Status

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated May 30, 2022 12:13:50 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your request

You asked for EED Clearance status.

Response to your request

The DFA does not accept requests directly from foreign nationals or their representatives.

For foreign nationals who wish to enter the PH for work or for gov't projects, their sponsor company/organization should file an EE request to a Nat'l Gov't Agency.

For employees/foreign nationals contracted by a company/organization based in the PH, the company/organization may file a request to the NGA that has oversight on the said company/organization:
-Urgent travel relating to business & investments - DTI Board of Investments
-Gov't project relating to energy - DOE
-Banks - DOF
-Family reunification requiring humanitarian consideration - PH Embassy/Consulate

In emergency/humanitarian cases, foreign nationals may file a request in the PH Embassy/Consulate nearest to their current location.

Should the NGA/PH Embassy/Consulate find the request to be valid, they will endorse the request directly to the DFA. The DFA only processes properly endorsed requests for EE.
