Hello, I would like to request the following information:

1. The total population of overseas Filipinos per country destination from 2014 until June 2021.

2. The total population of overseas Filipinos per country destination per skill from 2014 until June 2021 for both new hires and rehires.

3. The total population of overseas Filipinos per country destination per sex from 2014 until June 2021.

You asked for OFW Statistics.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have some of the information you have requested. However, you may wish to contact the Commission on Filipinos Overseas as they are the repository of the statistics of the number of Filipinos overseas. Likewise, you may wish to contact the Philippine Overseas Employment Authority for the statistics of OFWs in different employed in different industries. 

Nonetheless, we wish to advise you that the information provided to Foreign Service Posts (FSPs) by other government are governed by strict privacy laws and rules on confidentiality, thus the lack of specific data provided to the DFA.
