On your inquiry regarding unregistered domestic workers and cases of abused domestic workers, in this instance, upon further evaluation of your request, please be advised that these are recognized in international law as restricted and treated as confidential and privileged, and are as well included in the Inventory of Exceptions to Executive Order No. 2, the Order which operationalized the right to information. DFA, therefore, is constrained by law from issuing copies of the subject documents to the public.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to oscr.div2@dfa.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter.
