Good day! I am a student at the University of the Philippines College of Law. I am currently conducting a research on immunities from legal processes granted to International Organizations recognized by the Philippines pursuant to an international convention, treaties, and any legal instrument whatsoever.

I would like to request for a copy of the Manual on Privileges and Immunities to understand the step by step process of invoking said immunity, especially the role of DFA in the process. This would really be helpful in my research.

Your FOI request is approved. Further to your FOI request dated 03 February 2021, the Department wishes to furnish you a copy of Sections 2, 3, 7, and 9 of the Office of Protocol’s 2016 Handbook on Privileges and Humanities, as requested.
