Your Request

You asked for Report to Congress on Overseas Filipinos 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 (if already existing).

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. A copy of the redacted semi-annual Reports to Congress from 2020 to 2022 has been sent to the email address you provided.

Please note that we are only able to provide some of the information you have requested for, as the Office of the Undersecretary for Migrant Workers' Affairs is still in the process of preparing the submission of the report for January to June 2023. It must be noted that, as stated in the Section 21 of the Republic Act No. 10022, the mid-year report covering the period January to June shall be submitted not later than October 31 of the same.

The Department of Foreign Affairs emphasizes that the contents of the Report to Congress are strictly confidential and should only be used for the cited purpose stated in your request.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to opcd.div2@dfa.gov.ph.
