Good day sir, an alarming attack on the public's interest in data privacy is on the rise as most ONLINE LOAN APPS(OLA) (MOSTLY CHINESE OWNED/FINANCES APPS) collection of a customer's data and uses it as a weapon to mentally/physically attack the person. Foreigners pay private filipino third party collection department to execute a silent war on the governments stability as it is a clear representation of intelligence gathering by a non registered legal institution. We should look unto this matter at the soonest. It is like a situation in where we fight each other for money.Weak cyber security.

      Thank you for your kind reply, as I am concerned for my privacy and security, this happened to me when my mother and two siblings got positive with covid virus, at the time I saw an add about online loan applications, so I did apply at every available application platform ro borrow money, at first I was paying them for weeks because they will only give you 7 days for repayment, inspite of all the charges, ranging from 30 to 45 percent l, I did not hesitate to accept the offer, but at some time this apps sent me messages on the 6th day of the loan time saying thay I should pay or else they would post my picture, name shame me and contact all my references, so I thought if they would call I would talk to them thay I could not pay and to have an overdue payment thay I would willingly pay the day after, but to my surprise, all most of my contacts were informed detailed information about me and even post a picture of me on social media, sending spam messages of death threats and even threaf of raping my daughter, but I dont have a daughter as my wife is in canada. I know that this might nit interest the national security, but I wabt you to know what are the effects of these applications to the filipino people. Isn't it a national security threat if it involves the people's safety, security and not having the freedom of life and liberty?it may not capture the national security interest but all I ever wanted is to share what I thought be  a topic of modernization regarding cyber and digital warfare, electronics warfare and intelligence burnout on our side. The thing is they are using these applications to gather excessive data collection, as if it is like having a legal front used by the cpp npa. Does these apps have been monitored and have been interrogated by proper authorities on who are operating these modern hardwares in collecting storing and sharing sensitive informations?. Does the DND have the intelligence unit and resources to monitor these digital and cyber operations? How about giving this matter an urgency, a modern DND and AFP should utilize the available resources in intelligence gathering and information sharing as we are looking and dreaming of a modern defense, not only in land, air and sea ewuioments that would defend of sovereignty but as well as ro defend our people from these foreign backed modern digital,cyber and electronic attacks which cripples the community by destroying  people's minds, credibility and health by depressing the people thru threats, ne shame and misleading informations?How about the numbers of filipinos from luzon, visayas and mindanao who were victims of these data privacy and security hacks. We are in a war but nobody notices it because our enemies does not use any firearm, missiles, frigates, attack helos, mrf etc.,. They are using intelligence to slowly cripple the manpower and lives of your people. How about the future?DND is doing its best to modernize all the equipments of the AFP, but has done none or small improvements on intelligence, research, digital, cyber and electronics modernization. It is inevitable that in the near future the data collected will be used against us, as it pose a serious threat to national security, I will give an example, A Colonel who is a graduate of PMA, WESTPOINT, MNSA or NDCP having all the awards and recognition for his actions in combatting rebels and terrorists and would be soon promoted tocthe rank of a brigadier general, would go home to his house and have a dinner with his family, every normal human being does at the end of the day. His personal driver, his helper/maid in his house, gardener or even his relatives, normally would have his phone number, rhe scenario is that the persons having his personal number does not live a life like he is having, at some point in time, one of these person decided to use this online loan application, an what happens next?the application excessively collected all the data on the phone even pictures and addresses stored on that phone. On this case a high ranking military officer's sensitive data/information is compromised. Does this not capture the interest of our national security?. In the future, a modern warfare of equipments, intellegence, cyber , digital and electronics is inevitable. The data collected will be simply use by invading forces to destabilize military authorizations, access, logs, documents, vital informations regarding A level intelligence informations, data breach, code reset, password manipulations and confidential security documents. We should look for the effects, I do not care if you would just put this on trash, all I care is that I love my country, I'm a patriot even if I'm not in uniform. ALl I ever wanted is a credible, self sustaining and reliable armed forces. We should have the proper mindset in preparing our defense with regards to all kinds of possible attacks, wether it is an ICBM with a nuclear warhead or just a single click of a link.
