Good day DND, I would like to know informations about the current status update and future upgrades of Guiuan Airport. I am a local resident of the town and I graduated BS aeronautical engineering that is why I am into aviation and I want to be aware of the current informations and updates about our town's airport. I have heard the news that the airport is now under DND to make it as an PAF base.

For the current status and upgrades of Guiuan Airport in Eastern Samar, there is a proposal for the refurbishing of the airstrip to ensure its readiness for humanitarian assistance and disaster response.
