Report on the Status of ePUVs in the Philippines

Requested from DOE by B. Isip at 04:19 PM on May 11, 2022.
Purpose: To know how strong the transition of public vehicles to electric-based vehicles
Date of Coverage: 05/11/2021 - 05/11/2022
Tracking no: #DOE-471000559900

Isip 04:19 PM, May 11, 2022

It's very critical to know how the government transitions from fuel-based to electric-based vehicles when learning how strong the conviction of the government for cleaner energy.

Thus, I would like to request for information on the following listed below:
1. What's the current program on ePUVs nationwide?
• How many ePUVs already being used in the public?
• How many ePUV terminals in the country, and their LGUs/location?
• What's their policy on charging? Do LGUs require chargers at
terminal sites? Do the ePUV drivers need to pay for charging?

Thank you.
