You asked for Power Supply and Demand in Mindanao during ECQ.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. I enclose a copy of some of the information you requested.

1. Capacity and Demand Requirement in Mindanao.

>Please see attached 2019 List of Existing Power Plants for the capacity (Installed and Dependable).
> Please refer on below link for the demand requirements up to 2040. Note that the Department of Energy is still conducting studies and analysis on the demand side since the Covid19 Pandemic. Public data available is the 2016 Power Development Plan.

2. Energy Consumption in Mindanao.

>Attached herewith also is the sectoral sales and consumption of the Philippines from 2003-2019 which includes specifically for the Mindanao region. Power Statistics is an annual issuance of the Department, thus 2020 information will just be available next year in 2021.

Daily and Weekly Consumption data are not available on our end but can be requested to Distribution Utilities in Mindanao.
