Your Request

You asked for Data on Solar Energy in the Philippines.

Response to Request

We would like to provide the following accordingly:

(1) As of 30 June 2022, there are six (6) existing solar plants in Mindanao attached as Annex A. However, attached in Annex B is the complete list of awarded solar projects in the Philippines. 

(2) We regret to inform you that the DOE has no complete data of the power generated by plants on year 2000-2021. You may directly ask/inquire the Independent Electricity Market Operator of the Philippines (IEMOP) for the generated data.

(3) The date of Commerciality of Astronergy Development GenSan Inc.’s (ADGI) Santos Solar Power Project started in December 3, 2019. In line with this, the Department of Energy do not have any data from ADGI generation from year 2015-2019.
